Dia dhaoibh, a pháistí.  Tá súil agam go bhfuil sibh go maith.  Cáisc Shona daoibh go léir!   Happy Easter to you and your families.

Tomorrow, 3rd April we would have been finishing school for the Easter Holidays. This year things are quite a bit different, as we are all working hard at home!  I hope you have a chance during the holidays to enjoy some nice Easter treats, remember the Easter story and say a few prayers at home, as we won’t be going to the church this year for Easter.  Sunday 5th April is Palm Sunday, Thursday 9th April is Holy Thursday, Friday 10th April is Good Friday, Saturdy 11th is Holy Saturday and Sunday 12th April is Easter Sunday.   There are some lovely Easter ideas on www.scoilnet.ie that you might enjoy.

To keep active (especially with all the Easter Eggs around) you might continue with Go Noodle, Cosmic Kids Yoga, Super Troopers and try Corpoideachas le Ciarán on YouTube for an extra challenge, while keeping up our efforts for Active Flag and  Gaelbhratach! Here is the link to  ‘At Home with Weaving Well-Being’ – a free well-being journal to do at home, https://indd.adobe.com/view/5237deef-2311-469f-9e2d-b5ee89c2000f    and if you would like to try some of our “quiet time” meditations at home you can check out; www.otb.ie/WWB

I know you love your music and some of you  have been preparing for music exams, so you might like to try learning some of the tunes on the Scrudú Ceol Tíre website;  www.sctexams.com   Even if you don’t have your tin whistle at home, or you don’t play an instrument, you might like to look at  https://www.twinkl.ie/resource/t-mu-18-the-carnival-of-the-animals-powerpoint in the Fifth and Sixth Class Resources and Ms. Franklin has prepared some challenging questions to help you listen more closely.

Even when we can’t go too far, outside, books can take us to lots of new places.  Check out some of the online books in the last post!

We can’t go away on holidays this Easter, but we can take a virtual tour or a few!

You might remember that we learned about Cape Clear  this year so you might like to take a look at A Trip to Cape Clear 360 Documentary Island Ferries  on YouTube.  These are a few links to a few other places that might interest you!

Have a nice, relaxing Easter and I look forward to being in touch with you again on 20th April!   If we’re not back in school, we’ll head back to the books online and take our learning step by step! Take care, wash your hands, be nice to your parents, brothers and sisters at home and to your friends, if you’re chatting to them on the phone! I look forward to seeing you again soon.
