March 25th
Hello everybody!
We hope you and your families are safe and well. Who would have thought you’d have so much time off school? I hope you’re not missing your friends too much. It’s all a little strange for everybody but we don’t need to worry. Do keep washing your hands however and stay apart from people as advised by the Health Service Executive (HSE).
You may by now have completed the work which I set you on Thursday March 12th. If not there’s no panic! I don’t know when we’ll be back in school but I have set new work to keep you busy! If you’ve time you can look at https://nzmaths.co The following website – www.cjfallon.ie will be very useful particularly if you don’t have all your books at home and for completing the work on posters / tutorials/ and audio work above for 6th class.
If you are having difficulty accessing any of the material please do not worry and also if you don’t get everything done that’s ok. Do your best and if there’s a project in particular that you would like to research instead of some of the material above , feel free to do so .If you’re able to display your project on paper that’s great. You can also write/draw in your copy.
The work which you complete (in your copy, or photographs of art work/craft which you completed, of cooking, baking, activity from super troopers or whatever else that might be of interest may be sent to the school e mail and we will upload onto the website in time.
Once again, please do not worry about any of the work. If you can manage to do it great, as it means we won’t be under pressure if and when we get back to school. Remember one of the most important things you can do is to read. Of course helping at home and doing whatever your parents tell you during this tricky time is also really helpful to everybody.
Ná déanaigí dearmad do lámha a ní! (don’t forget to wash your hands!)
Slán go foil!
